EERIE DESCENT

EERIE DESCENT is the 3rd performance by Nordpolen Figurteater and has its premiere at GoFigure 2024. Nordpolen Figurteater is a cross-disciplinary mobile figure theatre house established in 2023 – a potential monument of a theatre institution, with the aim of providing equal doses of innovation and magic to the audience.

The theatre collaborates with artists and composers from different genres for each performance. They get the freedom to shape the concept and sound within the practical limitations of the theatre – a medium-sized box and a headset.

With roots in European traditions of traveling puppet theatre wagons and Latin American teatro lambe-lambe, the goal is to be able to perform anywhere, for anyone!
