Langt Ute og Lengst Inne is a choreographed installation that works with and challenges your perception. In a dark room, what you see, what you think you see and your own fantasies are mixed together.

You will be blindfolded, before you are led into a room to a bench where you get to lie undisturbed through the duration of the performance. In the landscape you peek into, dim lights and a group of hands are living. They do not grasp after anything, and they neither console nor harm. Langt Ute og Lengst Inne is a beautiful and caring time-out from the world, and an argument in itself that art experiences are the true Spa experience.

Each performance is only shown for two people at a time. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the performance.

Bananaz – Forening for Scenekunst connects various performing artists and their work. The association emphasizes collective working methods and views artistic practice in performing arts as a result of collective and contextual processes. With this association, the initiators also aim to promote the qualities that arise from encounters with places and people through their diverse works, as well as to develop unique production models for each project.

Bananaz – Forening for Scenekunst was established in 2019 and is currently led by Ingeleiv Berstad and Kristin Helgebostad. Numerous artists and professionals are associated with the various projects they initiate and run. The projects and operations receive artistic support from the Norwegian Arts Council for the period of 2020-2024.

Langt Ute Og Lengst Inne is a beautiful and exciting project that questions the very perception of art and highlights how we use our senses and bodies to interpret and understand what we see. When combined with a willingness for building spaces and worlds, the result is both thrilling, challenging, and pleasantly confusing at the same time. Scenekunst.no
